Cartilage peircing one ear or both?

I have one normal piercing on my lobe and I wanted to get one up top, some people say just get one, others say two. Should I just get both and decide on certain days which ear to put it in or would it look fine with both in? Also if you could give me an average price of getting one that would help too.

I would personally say get one pierced and then if you like it, you could the second one done at a later time. There's no point in getting both and then deciding you only want one and take one out! It all depends on where you get it pierced but I wouldn't think it could be anymore than about 40 dollars? Then again you never know. Good luck :) It will be cute.

Get one done first. It hurts to sleep on the side of your cartilage piercing, so getting both done at the same time is not a good idea! Do it on one ear first and when it stops hurting while you sleep(and if you still want one) get the other one done.
