Just don't. A permanent change to your body shouldn't be done on the cheap, and it shouldn't be done the way you're planning at all. You should take the next several months spending some time researching stretching, and saving up money to buy your own materials. There's no rush, your ears aren't going anywhere.

One taper in each size, one set of jewelry in each size, and oil that's meant to be in skin, not on chicken. Since stretching takes months between sizes, you won't break the bank buying proper materials.

People that don't want blowouts should not skip past 6 sizes. And it's still skipping, even if you wait a whole day. Stopping isn't enough, you need to downsize, like 14g or smaller. If you think you have a blowout, gently insert small jewelry from the back (or front if you stretched back to front) with emu oil, which is safe for open wounds, do saline soaks at least once a day, and hope really hard it reabsorbs and you don't have a permanent lip of skin around your piercing. I wouldn't bother with the aloe vera at least until it's healed, and don't use alcohol. Saline soaks and gentle soap are enough for cleaning. Emu oil massages are great when your ear is no longer swollen or tender. Your ear looks very swollen, another reason to downsize as soon as you can, the less pressure the better. As I said, stopping isn't enough, you should just start over. If you can't commit to being patient and taking months to stretch to 4g, then you should rethink the whole idea of stretching.

Going from a 20/22g to a 10 is not a good idea. I went from a 20 to a 12 and it hurt like hell. You might just want to wait till you get a 12g. Better to wait than to mess up your ear. As for the canola oil im not sure about that. It would basically be like putting canola oil on a cut (dnt sound like a good idea).

Ps. Be sure to keep it clean getting it infected is a b***h. A good way to do that is useing saline water on it.

Anything non-toxic is ok. I'd recommend Vaseline or baby oil, but hey, you gotta work with what you got.

Tips: Start off with a REGULAR EARRING (18g), and THEN put in the 16g. If it starts to hurt: stop, hold it in place, and wait for it. Don't go at it whole-hog. It's going to to take some time (at least 3 minutes - or more- per gauge size), HURT LIKE F***, and SMELL. Disinfect EVERYDAY; NO EXCUSES!!

Nothing about this is a good idea. For one, tapers aren't jewelry. Sharing jewelry is disgusting by the way, unless one of you own an autoclave to sterilize it between uses.

Canola oil is not ok. I imagine it had a lot of chemicals and ingredients and what not in it that you really don't want in an open wound.

If you're at 20g, just trying to go to 16g can rip your earlobes. Trying to go to 20g to 10g at once is just unbelievable stupid & unsafe. There's no doubt in my mind you will ruin your ears if you attempt this.

Stretching is a permanent, serious, and expensive modification. If you cannot afford to do it correctly, you have no business doing it at all. Reconsider this before you disfigure your ears/
