I know that the higher the SPF the better it is but isn't SPF 15 enough?

i would suggest SPF 30. You can't feel the difference and it's way better for your skin. If you wear a lower SPF you are more likely to wrinkle when you get older.

Well the higher the SPF the more protection it gives you. But if you want to protect your skin some and still tan some then I would guess SPF15 would be good enough. However if you really want to protect your skin you should go with a high SPF. I never use a SPF under 30, the higher the better because in the long run it really saves your skin from alot of damage.

well depends if your going for a tan or not spf stands for sun protection factor so if its spf 15 thats 15 times the protection then without it the higher the number the more protection you get if its spf 15 you can stay outside 15 times as long without getting burnt.

I saw a report in which they mentioned that, yes a higher SPF is best, but only when used properly. Some of us apply the sunscreen, but don't reapply it as often as we should. The lower the SPF the more you have to reapply after swimming to long, use of towels, and perspiration. So go with the 30 or higher, but remember to reapply : )

Because it blocks more of the harmful rays that damage your skin. Which of course means you will not get as tan as you'd probably like, but tanning is not always good for your skin.
