I exercise reguarly, usually atleast 6 times a week, going to the gym etc and eat a low calorie diet, yet i still feel disgusted and depresed when i look at my body in the mirror, im aware that its not normal to be reduced to tears. Why is my body still not losing weight, its frustrating and depressing that even with all this effort i cant see any physical differences.

If you eat to little and exercise too much your body goes into a state where it saves a lot of calories and burns fewer, stop trying it too lose it too fast.

any way, only immature people judge people by their bodies.

you shouldn't care, im 5'5 151 lbs and people don't go "ewe shes fat dont talk to her"

when your dying you wont care that you weren't anorexic

LOVE YOURSELF! its the only you that you;; ever have

i sometimes feel the same way. you could go to the doctor or a nutritionist and get some information. you have to remember that all bodies are different, and you might have heard that a thousand times but it is true. i tell myself this a lot. i also tell myself that being thin is not everything, it is being healthy. and that is what you should go for. yea it might be great that in the process of becoming healthy that u lose a few pounds but that is nothing compared to living longer because you keep your body in good health. i mean i had a coach who looked 51 but was really 68. i mean talking about age difference. and he still had a belly.

ok now if you aren't already eat more fruit and veggies. if you go out to eat cut your food in half don't eat it all even if it is a salad. for salads you can put carrots, grapes, apples, and nuts and very or no dressing at all. keep up with the exercising. set a goal like running a mile or two in a time period, that will release the endorphins in your brain or a runners high. instead of having white rice eat brown. instead on sugar use honey.

look at yourself in the mirror and this time tell yourself that you are beautiful. find something that you like about yourself and love it find something that you do not like and begin to like it

i am 198 and i love my legs, i dislike my stomach but in the process of changing my views i found that i love my curves.

as long as you love your body, eat healthy, and exercise there should be no reason to cry. i hope this has helped you in any way

What you need is a good therapist. This is a mental problem as well. My body is FAR from being perfect...do I care? Yeah...but not enough where I would ever cry or think I'm a horrible person. Have some confidence and self esteem and love yourself no matter what you look like. Maybe you have body dysmorphia? You really need therapy!
