I'm 5ft6in and I weigh about 120 lbs. I really want to model but I'm body conscience and I don't want to be rejected because of weight... do I weigh too much for modeling?

Thats a good body! But My friend was told she needed to lose 10 pounds, pretty face, 5' 7.5 and 117. They are brutal. I am 5' 6 and weigh 100 pounds. Im tiny- but my height is not where most want it! Its not just about weight... you have to be the whole package.

Your weight is irrelevant, all anyone cares about are your measurements. You need to be between 34-24-34 and 36-26-36 to model. It doesn't matter if you weigh 110lbs or 140lbs if you have these measurements. Someone who is lean and muscular is going to weigh more than someone with no muscle tone, even with the same measurements.
In 13 years in the industry, I have never once seen a model step on a scale. They are always measured with measuring tapes

I am the same height and wieght and i am getting into acting and modeling myself. You are certainly a healthy weight and will get some modeling, but if you want the perfect model body, i would try and lose 7 lbs (thats what i am doing). Definitely do it healthily, though. Get a low calorie everyday meal plan but make sure you get enough protien and vitamins. If you dont already drink them, Fuze drinks are a great, low calorie, fruity drink that speeds up your metabolism. that will help you lose wieght faster. You also should do an hour of cardio at least 4 times a week. anything from running to spinning to a kickbox class will do. Also, if you can work out more times a week, I would do pilates and yoga on the in-between days to build up muscle in your core (kickass abs). So yes, I hope I helped! Good luck with your modeling!

No way. I'm an inch taller and 5 pounds heavier and I'm tiny. If anyone tells you you're too heavy, they're retarded.
