Hi i have horrible stretch marks allll over my body. I blame my mum coz she has them and i heard they are heredity. Anyways thats not to say you cant reduce them. From PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, i would like to know which creams worked best on you and if you used them on old or new stretch marks. if you didnt use a cream, advice on other methods such as laser is welcome.

...also how often did you use the cream and roughly how long did it take to notice the difference. weeks, months, years?? please be honest, i can wait a long time coz stretch marks wont disappear over night, but if it worked for you id like to be serious on how often i apply the cream and how patient i am. i dont wanna hear bio-oil worked in 2 weeks because if it doesnt on me ill get real impatient. Thanks xx

Hello, I have your problem too, but dont let it get you down. Now, a few years ago i started using Palmers cocoa-butter, it worked wonders on my old scars and stretchmarks, I cannot give you exact times as it will be different for everyone, I used it after my shower in the morning, then at night before I went to bed.

This improved my stretchmarks loads, but then it stopping showing any signs of improvement, so I changed to Bio-Oil, it works, I use it all over my body and can feel that my skin is soft and supple, my stretch marks are very light now, it worked in around 3 months. I would put it on after my shower, and then use it as a bath oil at night.

Regardless of what kind of products you use, they won't always keep stretch marks away. They can help in reducing the appearance of them and they will definitely help w/ the itching...but most women get stretch marks. For those who don't get them on their stomach they make come in other places, like breasts, things, butt and under your butt. I'm 31 weeks w/ my second. I got very few stretch marks w/ my first. The worst ones I got came from the stretching of my scar from when I had my appendix removed. I got a couple small one on my side, and some on the tops of my thighs, high up. Luckily, they aren't/weren't very dark. And it seems with this pregnancy, the stretch marks that I already have are the ones that are being affected. I use Palmer's Cocoa Butter on a daily basis...it helps a lot with the itching. And I think its reduced the appearance of my stretch marks...but nothing kept them away all together. When I'm not pregnant, I usually go tanning once in a while and that seemed to help a lot with the appearance of my stretch marks...you really could even tell when I was tan. Sadly, they are just a part of pregnancy. But when you are holding your baby, everything will seem worth it :-) Good luck

I use "eaurganic Regenere VS - Anti-Strech Mark Cream" from http://www.eaurganic.com

It should be used at least 2 times a day (at night is a must). I also used it few times before taking sun bath)
